      • Snow Panther This intermediate course is suitable for not only your standard skiing or snowboarding but also for practising the slalom and tricks.

  • TYPE 1 CONTROLS

  • (Controls used for both skiing & snowboarding)
    • Skating : When skiing downhill or on level ground, face the screen and simultaneously swing the Wii Remote and Nunchuk down to skate (propel yourself with the poles).
    • Parallel Turns/Turning : Tilt the Wii Remote and Nunchuk in the direction you want to turn while skiing.
    • Braking : Move the Control Stick down while skiing.
    • Jumping : Simultaneously swing the Wii Remote and Nunchuk up while holding down the B Button. Hold downthe B Button.

    • Skiing : Parallel Turns/Turning; Jumping
      • Lean sideways in the direction you want to turn while skiing.
      • Quickly stand up straight on the Wii Balance Board while skiing to jump.
      • You can also use the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controls to jump.
      • Face the front of the Wii Balance Board toward the television.
    • Snowboarding : Tilt the Wii Remote and Nunchuk in the direction you want to turn while skiing.
      • Parallel Turns/Turning; Jumping
      • - Lean Forward and backward in the direction you want to turn while sliding.
      • When riding “goofy,” stand on the Wii Balance Board facing the opposite direction.
      • Quickly stand up straight on the Wii Balance Board while snowboarding to jump.
      • (You can also use the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controls to jump.

  • Familyski and snowboard Trick Controls
    • Half-Pipe : Slide down a course shaped like a pipe cut in half, performing tricks off the walls on each side. Your velocity will launch you off the walls into the air, making it unnecessary to jump.
    • Stiffy : Simultaneously swing the Wii Remote and Nunchuk down.
    • Daffy : Swing the Wii Remote and Nunchuk up and down in large opposing swings.
    • One-Foot : Swing the Wii Remote and Nunchuk sideways in opposite directions.
    • 180 : Move the Control Stick up or down one time. (Move the Control Stick up to rotate to the left,and down to rotate to the right.)
    • 360 : Move the Control Stick left or right one time.(The number of times you move the Control Stick will be the number of rotations you perform.)
    • Rail Slides : You can ride on rails and boxes. Gain speed and jump on them to perform slides. You can ride on some obstacles simply by sliding over them, but you’ll need to jump to slide across high rails and boxes. While on rails and boxes, you can perform jumps, switches and presses.
    • Rail Slides: Jump onto a rail to perform a rail slide. (See School page for instructions on how to jump.)
    • Box Slides: Jump onto a box to perform a box slide. (See School page for instructions on how to jump.)
    • Tail Press : Move the Control Stick down while holding down the B Button.
    • Kickers : Tricks performed in the air are known as air tricks. To perform air tricks, jump and then enter a command while in the air.
    • Daffy : Swing the Wii Remote and Nunchuk up and down in large opposing swings.
    • Twister : Simultaneously swing the Wii Remote and Nunchuk in the same direction left or right
    • 360 : Move the Control Stick left or right one time. (The number of times you move the Control Stick will be the number of rotations you perform.)
